This informal gathering is designed for students, parents and community members interested in learning more about the growing field of industrial and systems engineering, as well as the opportunities available through NIU’s College of Engineering and Engineering Technology (CEET).

During the meet and greet, attendees will hear from ISYE Department Chair Purush Damodaran and may also meet other faculty members and alumni. Topics will include the types of careers pursued by industrial and systems engineers, internship and employment opportunities in the region and NIU’s curriculum and experiential learning opportunities. Scholarships, student design teams and the application process will also be discussed.
