Registration Deadline: Dec. 1 at 5 p.m.
Mental Health First Aid, governed by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, is a skills-based certification course that teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to mental health and substance-use issues.
This training is offered FREE of charge; however, if you do not complete the required pre-work prior to the instructor-led portion or do not complete the course, $25 will be charged to your Bursar to cover the cost of course materials.
Participants must take part in both sessions to complete the training, receive their certificate, and avoid the $25 charge for course enrollment and supplies.
This session consists of two half-day trainings: Dec. 15 and 16, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
