The NIU Newman Civic Fellowship Program recognizes and supports student public problem solvers. This yearlong program, held in conjunction with Campus Compact, offers students opportunities to expand their learning, make an impact and create meaningful professional connections.

One NIU student is selected for this program each year, based on the student’s demonstrated civic and community engagement leadership and commitment to finding solutions for challenges facing communities.
