Active learning transforms classrooms into spaces where students participate, practice, and apply what they’re learning. This workshop introduces evidence-based strategies for integrating active learning into face-to-face teaching, helping faculty create dynamic environments that improve student understanding, motivation, and retention.

In this session, participants will:

• Identify evidence-based active learning strategies that enhance student engagement in in-person courses
• Design classroom activities that balance content delivery with opportunities for student participation
