CTL LIFT – Designing Your Course
Presented by: Stacey Cofield, PhD
Description: Leading your first course can be overwhelming; designing your course can be downright terrifying! But it doesn’t have to be! This workshop will offer essential tools and strategies to design your first course from the ground up, by focusing on: learner-centered design, alignment of outcomes, materials, activities, and assessments. You will leave with an outline of a course structure, a set of initial activities, and a deeper understanding of how to foster an engaging and equitable learning environment.
Lunch will be provided (if you are unable to attend at the last minute, please contact the CTL: uabctl@uab.edu)
