Synchronous online teaching offers immediacy and interaction but can easily become passive if not intentionally designed.

This session explores strategies for creating real-time learning experiences that foster community and engagement. Participants will examine techniques to enhance social, cognitive and teaching presence in live sessions, including use of active learning structures, breakout discussions and digital collaboration tools.
