Please join the English Department in welcoming the third visiting writer of the academic year, Kimberly Johnson. Johnson will join us on campus for a reading at Galbreath Chapel on January 29th at 7:30 PM. This programming is organized by the Creative Writing Program and the English Department and funded by the College of Arts and Sciences.
Kimberly Johnson is a poet, translator, and literary critic. Her work has appeared widely in publications including The New Yorker, Slate, The Iowa Review, PMLA, and Modern Philology. Recipient of grants and fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Utah Arts Council, the Amy Lowell Trust, and the Mellon Foundation, Johnson holds an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars, an M.F.A. fro...
