Description
Faith Knutsen is the Director of Innovation & Social Entrepreneurship at OHIO’s Voinovoich School and a proud CIS alumna. In this workshop, Knutsen will be providing a 3-hour, hands-on overview of grantwriting skills. This is an abbreviated version of the weekend-long class she offers annually during Fall semester. Topics summarized will include searching for grant opportunities, ‘mission fit’ between funder and applicant, applications as seen from the funder’s perspective, and key do’s and don’t’s. Before the session, participants will be offered the opportunity to select a current, live grant that’s interesting to them to workshop during the lecture.
