Brianne Brinker, a former NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey goalie and longtime coach, official, and administrator, now serves as assistant athletic director for facilities at Union College. Her debut work, Skating Out of the Vault: A Trans Woman’s Escape from the Game of Masculinity, explores her journey of identity, resilience, and the support that shaped her path. An advocate for trans rights, Brianne speaks widely at colleges, conferences, and legislatures, while continuing to coach hockey and compete internationally with Team Trans Ice Hockey.
