Policy science is a way of evaluating present and potential public policy using the scientific canons of logic and sound evidence. A Reed degree is a good way to get started on a career in that field. This talk and discussion will describe what policy science is, give an example or two of interesting policy projects I have conducted, and examine what education beyond Reed is useful for what types of policy careers.
