Sequencing a book of photographs is its own, distinct, art apart from taking photographs. Compiling many photographs into a single cohesive work requires a consideration of curation, ordering, and design. In this class I will share the techniques and strategies of sequencing a book of photographs that I learned from friends, mentors, and collaborators while working in the photobook publishing Industry. I invite participants to bring their own prints to workshop the process of sequencing.
