Add to calendarYou’re Invited: Manasseh Cutler’s Lobster Fest — A New England Bobcat Tradition! 🦞
The Massachusetts Network Serving New England is excited to bring back a beloved tradition that celebrates the historic ties between Ohio University and the Bay State. Join us for Manasseh Cutler’s Lobster Fest, a summer gathering that blends Bobcat camaraderie with New England charm on the scenic shores of Cape Ann.
Our day begins in Hamilton, MA, where we’ll honor Manasseh Cutler, one of OHIO’s founding figures, with a commemorative program at his historic church and final resting place. You’ll hear from Cutler historians and take guided tours of both the First Congregational Church and the Wigglesworth-Cutler House, both dating back to Cutler’s time in the area.
Then we’ll make our way to the picturesque seaside town of Rockport, MA, where the festivities continue with our annual Lobster Dinner — a long-standing favorite among Bobcats near and far! 🐾
