Looking for a caring, dependable coach to help 14-year-old high school student to stay on top of his schoolwork. He's a curious, sharp kid and strong in math. Like a lot of gifted kids with ADHD (mostly the inattentive kind), he does the work, then forgets to turn it in. We're looking for someone to be a steady, encouraging presence through two short remote check-ins a day: about 15 minutes in the morning to help him plan and get going, and about 15 minutes in the evening to make sure the day's work is finished and, most importantly, actually submitted. We want someone who can understand what this kind of executive-function challenge is like, who can build trust with a smart teenager, and who sees the value in helping him close the gap between what he can do and what actually gets turned in. What we're looking for:
Current or recent grad student in psychology, education, or a related field (Stanford preferred, MS or PhD)
Warm, patient, reliable, and consistent
Comfortable with short daily video or phone check-ins
Genuinely interested in the person, not just the paycheck Logistics:
Remote (video or phone)
Roughly 15 minutes each morning and 15 minutes each evening, on school days
$30 per day If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Please complete the application form here: https://forms.gle/MxWs9qFRTSwqCp929 Selected applicants will be contacted for a brief interview.
