Verified and sponsored posts
Posts from people affiliated with their university — verified by their university email — carry a verified label.
Paid posts from outside the campus community are welcome in every category and are labeled sponsored, so you always know who you're dealing with.
How to reply to a post
Type a message into the reply box below the post. Your message is delivered to the poster, and their response goes to the email address you replied with.
If you're signed in, you can also follow the conversation under messages.
How to include pictures
Every category supports photos. Add up to four images in the posting form — from your camera roll on mobile or by browsing/dragging files on desktop. The first photo becomes your post's thumbnail in the feed.
FAQ
Where is my post?
If you were signed in with a verified email, your post is live as soon as you confirm it — find it in its category or under my posts.
If you posted as a guest, your post goes live after you open the publish link we emailed you and click "publish".
If your post was live and has since disappeared, it may have expired, or it may have been flagged by the Capmus community or removed for falling outside our Terms of Use.
Where is my publish email?
- Make sure you entered your email address correctly on the posting form — it only takes one typo!
- Check your spam folder. Some email providers misfile Capmus publish emails.
- Email delivery can occasionally take a few minutes — consider stretching out, getting some fresh air and checking back shortly.
Why was my posting deleted?
There are 4 possible reasons:
- Your posting has expired.
- Your posting has been flagged off the site.
- Your posting has been brought to the attention of Capmus, determined to be outside our Terms of Use, and removed by one of our staff.
- You deleted the posting yourself.
