Join the McClung Museum for a special two-hour workshop led by Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians artist Laura Walkingstick. Held in conjunction with our premier exhibition, Homelands: Connecting to Mounds through Native Art, this program explores the fun and traditional techniques of crafting cornhusk dolls. With all materials provided, you’ll be guided through the creative process to ensure you leave the session with a beautiful, handmade doll to cherish for years to come.
Support for this program is provided by the Henry Luce Foundation.
Tickets: Free for museum members with museum promo code* | $50 for non-members
Note: 100% of all purchases include a tax-deductible gift to the McClung Museum Support Fund.
When you purchase a non-member ticket at $50, your registration activates an individual museum membership for the next year. As a member, you'll have access to exclusive programming, benefits, and reciprocal membership at museums across the U.S. For more information, visit our membership page.
*If you are a museum member and did not receive a promo code via email, please contact Courtney Francis, Membership and Events Coordinator, at cfranc19@utk.edu.
