Juneteenth 4K Freedom Walk and Festival

UT Southwestern is proud to celebrate Juneteenth with our local community, and we invite you to join us for an afternoon of festivities.    

The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center will host the annual Juneteenth 4K Freedom Walk and Festival on June 13. Attendees are invited to participate in the 4K walk and enjoy the celebratory festival afterward, which will include a resource fair, informational workshops, fun-filled activities, health screenings, and live entertainment. The event will take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.   

UTSW is also sponsoring the celebration's "Healthy Living Zone," which will include health screenings and department booths. If your department would like to participate, please contact the Office for Institutional Opportunity.
