Join us for a special program in collaboration with University Libraries and the Special Collections Department. The recently restored 17th century volumes “Opere di Galileo Galilei,” which consist of manuscripts and scientific writings of Italian astronomer Galileo, will be on display at the BGSU Planetarium. A short presentation about the volumes by Chair of Special Collections, Michelle Sweetser, will begin at 6:30 p.m. The program will conclude with the planetarium show TWO SMALL PIECES OF GLASS about astronomical telescopes across time, beginning with Galileo.
Public stargazing will follow the program, weather permitting.
