Civil Discourse is a topic of critical importance, not only on the Berry Campus, but across the country, and Berry Circles is an excellent structure for a panel and discussion because it allows for sharing. The idea developed through the Berry College Interfaith Council. This Berry Circles event holds particular significance as it addresses topics that often generate tension, misunderstanding, or silence within communities. By intentionally creating a space where these themes can be explored openly and respectfully, the event supports Berry’s commitment to fostering belonging, intellectual curiosity, and holistic student development.
