In this interactive session, participants “shop” for different privileges using an allotted amount of Monopoly money. Each privilege carries a different cost, requiring participants to make challenging choices about what they can afford and what they must go without.

As the activity unfolds, participants experience how access, opportunity, and advantage are unevenly distributed and shaped by systems rather than individual effort. The session concludes with a guided group discussion to unpack the experience, explore emotional responses, and examine how privilege shows up in real life. Participants will reflect on how cost, choice, and access intersect, and consider how increased awareness of privilege can inform more equitable practices, decision making, and leadership moving forward.
