Class Description: An all levels, 60 minute class that begins and ends with a guided meditation or breathwork practice, and focuses on utilizing poses and sequences of poses to help with working through emotions that may stored in the body, bring calm and peace to the whole body, and work to strengthen and mobilize the body. This practice begins and ends with more restorative poses, and builds up to warming and strengthening poses and flows in the middle practice, paying special attention to connecting breath to movement. Teacher Bio: Jayde Barber is a yoga teacher with a background in mental health, peer support, and social work, particularly with homeless and underserved youth. Jayde has been practicing yoga since the age of eight, using mindful movement as a powerful tool to manage severe anxiety and panic. Her personal journey...
