Description

Stanford faculty family is seeking a responsible, engaging Stanford graduate student to work with a high school student after school during the 2026–27 school year.

This is more than a homework-help position. We're looking for someone who can provide consistent structure, help monitor assignments and upcoming tests, explain concepts when needed, and encourage good study habits and increasing independence. The student has ADHD and autism; experience working with students with these kinds of challenges is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

Meeting approximately 1 hour after school, 4 days/week
Reviewing assignments, grades, and upcoming tests
Helping plan and complete homework
Tutoring across middle-school subjects as needed
Sending regular updates to the parent
We're looking for someone who is warm, organized, dependable, and enjoys working with adolescents.

Location: Stanford campus (our home or nearby library/café)
