Looking for an affordable, student-friendly place to stay? This private room is a great dorm alternative in a safe, quiet neighborhood. You'll share a floor and bathroom with college-age students. Wellesley College is a 10-minute walk; Babson and Olin are about 30 minutes; MassBay is 45. Easy access to public transit, walking trails, and local shops. Ideal for students or interns seeking a clean, comfortable, and convenient space near campus.

The space
This room is located on the 3rd floor of our historic home which was built in 1900. The room may have once been a part of the servant's quarters at one time. In addition to a daybed, small desk and dresser, there is also a full size sink and ample cabinet storage.

Guest access
There is a kitchenette and living area available for guest use. There is a Keurig machine and a vast assortment of coffees as well as tea. Kitchen appliances include a full size refrigerator, rice door, hot pot, slow cooker, toaster and blender.

There is a $7.00 fee per load if you choose to use the washer/dryer. The machines are preloaded with high quality detergent.

During your stay
We live in the same building in the apartment next door. We can easily be accessible by phone, text and email.

Other things to note
This room is located on the third floor floor of our home.

The bath is shared with up to 3 other people.

Due to requirements of our insurance provider, we cannot host:

1. Anyone under the age of 18
   2.Smokers

Depending on your time of arrival, you can take public transportation which will cost about $10

A taxi will cost approximately $100.

Uber and Lyft range in price, but are less expensive than a taxi. Please check for rates. The cheapest I have paid between $45.

The washer and dryer are available for $7 per load. Use of the washer and dryer is for guests.

Overnight parking restrictions have not been enforced since Covid. Park directly in front of the house. In the event of inclement weather, we will coordinate parking in the driveway.

For convenience, we provide a check-in window between 5pm-10pm. Please note, this is a range and it is very important that we coordinate a mutually convenient time frame prior to your arrival.
