This is a very nice Cannondale R300 CAD 2 with a handbuilt in the USA lightweight aluminum frame, alloy fork and Shimano RSX 3x7 groupset. Back in the day, this was a race bike, but it can now serve more as a “starter” road bike or even a daily commuter. We have just fitted brand NEW Panaracer Pasela 700x28c all-purpose tires and fresh bar wrap.
With a 54cm effective top tube and a 53cm seat tube (c-c), the official size is 54cm and should fit most riders in the 5'6" to 5'9" range. The standover measurement is 31”.
Component highlights include: Shimano RSX cranks, RSX derailleurs, RSX STI shifters, Specialized BG Lithia saddle and the aforementioned new tires and bar wrap.
This classic Cannondale is in Good to Very Good condition overall for the age. There are a few minor scuffs, scrapes and smudges here and there from normal usage. The overall finish still looks good. Mechanically, the bike is fully tuned and ready to ride.
