Charming cottage in Westwood Village

I am looking for someone to look after my cottage in Westwood Village between Dec 11 and Jan 2. My place is 950 square feet, with two bedrooms, one bathroom (shower and bath), and a spacious living room with a working fireplace, making it a particularly cozy place to spend the winter months. There is plenty of natural light throughout. It is furnished and equipped with an oven, stove, fridge, high speed wifi, and a shared washer and dryer. The kitchen has pots, pans, and utensils.

The cottage is part of a small, gated complex of historic homes dating back to the early 1900s. These cottages were originally built to house the workers who built UCLA, and they retain much of their original character. The house has lovely period details, including wooden shutters, wooden floors, and red tiling in the kitchen and bathroom. There is also a very small outdoor patio space, with a chair for one. I would describe the house overall as comfortable, convenient, and romantic.

The cottage is located in the heart of Westwood Village, which is full of cafés, restaurants, shops, and other amenities (Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joes). UCLA—and its botanical gardens!—are within comfortable walking distance. The Big Blue Bus routes (2, 17, 18) are only a couple of minutes away. You will be a 10 minute drive from the Getty and a 20 minute drive from Santa Monica Pier. Westwood is generally well located and it is not far to get to the ocean or downtown. I will try to organise parking if needed but cannot guarantee anything in that regard.

This listing is for Dec 11 to Jan 2 and preference will be given to someone able to stay the duration. The rent is $3,150 per month including all bills and a professional clean before and after the stay. This amount will be prorated for the duration of a stay.
