Walking distance to Downtown Boston and easy access to buses 92&93 and orange line subway (underground.)

Parking:
On- street, free for no- residents from 8:00 P.M. until 8:00 A.M. during the week. There is two-hour parking around the area. Free for all during the weekend.

Directions:
To get to 46 Monument Ave. from Logan airport by public transportation:

After you get your luggage, go outside the lower level and take the free bus to Subway station. Board a FREE Massport shuttle bus (Route 22, 33 or 55) at any airline Terminal to the Blue Line Airport Station. The Blue Line will connect you to both the Orange Line (at State Street) and Green Line (at Government Center). Make sure the bus is going to the Subway Station. Take the Blue Line (toward Bowdoin) to the State Street stop. Go upstairs and take the Orange Line (toward Oak Grove) to the Bunker Hill/Community College stop.

Get off at Bunker Hill/Community College. Go upstairs to the street level. Turn left on the sidewalk. Walk across to two consecutive lights on the sidewalk and pass the 99 Restaurant, Wholefood supermarket, and the post office on your left. At the light, make a right on Main Street. Walk three short blocks and Monument Ave. is the third left. Number 46 is in the middle of the hill on the left side of the street.

It's not a bad idea to buy a "Charlie Card" from the Airport stop if you plan to use public transportation during your visit. It will be less expensive than paying for each trip. You can use it on the bus. There are two buses-- numbers 92 & 93 from Charlestown to Downtown. From Downtown to Charlestown, get off at St. Mary's Church stop. Walk one block to Monument Ave.

Driving from Logan International Airport:
Follow the Airport Exit and head North to Sumner Tunnel. Turn left and Pay toll to go through the tunnel. Stay left toward 93 N. Get off at Government Center. Follow directions to Charlestown. At light make left, and go straight to N. Washington Street and continue straight. Turn right on Chelsea Street. Turn left at the first light on Warren Street. After the stop sign go straight and you will see St. Mary's Church, make your first legal right on Monument Ave.
