Hi all! I’m an incoming postdoc at Stanford/KIPAC/SLAC. I will be spending the first part of my postdoc living in another country, but I am required to spend the first month of it at Stanford for on-boarding and training. My position begins October 1st, so I am looking for a quiet, short-term place to live near campus/SLAC for the month of October.
Since I'll be moving abroad after the ~4 weeks, I am looking for a place that is furnished and either close to campus or within a reasonable commute on public transit. I would prefer my own space (e.g. studio/1B1B) but may be open to sharing a place with roommates if I have my own room in a relatively quiet house (I may keep odd hours due to the nature of my work).
I'm generally quiet, don't smoke, and will not be bringing pets, but am ok if others have pets.
