[Housing wanted] Visiting PhD student seeking room near Stanford | Aug 12, 2026–Feb 8, 2027

I am a female PhD student in Computer Science from Germany and will be visiting Stanford for approximately six months. I am looking for a private room in a shared apartment or house near Stanford, tentatively from August 12, 2026, to February 8, 2027.

My monthly budget is below $1,900, depending on the location, room, and included utilities. I would prefer a furnished room with convenient access to Stanford by bike, public transportation, or walking.

I am respectful and considerate of shared spaces. I do not smoke, have no pets, and am not a party person. I am looking for a friendly, peaceful household and would be happy to live with other graduate students or young professionals.
