I'm searching for either a 1bed/1bath (< $2300) for one person or a 2bed/2bath (< $3200) for two people for long-term rental.
I'm a Stanford employee who is looking to transition to a new housing situation. Open to 1 bedroom spots for just myself or 2 bedroom spots for me and a family member, who is also looking for housing. (Not searching for housemates at this time).
Timeline:
Any time before the year ends (so let's say before January 1, 2027).
Would strongly prefer:
- off-street parking (or ample street parking); bonus points if parking available for 2 cars if renting a 2-bedroom unit
- washer/dryer in-unit (hookups are fine; in-building doable)
- 2 full baths if 2bd unit (but 1.5 is okay, as well)
Bonus points if:
- air conditioning of any kind
Region:
- anywhere from San Jose up to Daly City/South SF (not SF proper)
- Bonus points if somewhere in Redwood City, San Carlos, general Peninsula region, or proximity to Stanford
Rental Type:
- Open to apartments, condos, compact townhouses, duplexes, etc.
- Would want to rent the entire unit, not a shared living situation
- Bonus points if the unit is on the ground floor or if there is elevator access for something higher up
