Description

LA ARTIST HOUSE – Since 2009.

Read my reviews — they’re awesome and show what it’s really like to live here.

If this spot shows as booked, message me — I may have other beds in the same house.

Shared-room co-living in a dorm-style luxury home in safe, beautiful Encino.

Just bring your clothes and food — everything else provided is listed in the property description.

The space
Wake up in a sunny Encino home, grab a coffee, and step right into your LA life.

This shared co-living space is designed for people chasing big goals — actors, writers, dancers, students, nurses, and anyone landing in LA and needing an easy, comfortable home base.

The Neighborhood Feel

Encino sits in the San Fernando Valley with tree-lined streets, quiet residential blocks, and tons of cafes and restaurants along Ventura Boulevard. It’s the kind of area where you can walk to grab groceries, hit a park, or hop on a bus, then be in the middle of the city’s action not long after. Burbank Airport is close enough that you’re only a short drive away when you land or take off.

Life in the House

Think big, open common areas, a comfy sectional, multiple living rooms, and a dining table that can handle everything from late-night script reads to group dinners. You’ll have 4-person rooms or a big 8-person room to choose from, with options for all-female, all-male, or coed depending on what makes you feel most comfortable. The vibe is friendly, focused, and supportive — people are here to work on their craft, study, save money, and move forward.

There’s fast WiFi, tons of desks, a climate-controlled workspace, outdoor gym equipment, and a pool when you need a reset. Streaming services, printers, office supplies, filtered water, coffee, laundry, and kitchen gear are all ready to go — you just show up with clothes, food, and good energy.

House Culture

This isn’t a party house — it’s more like a creative dorm for grown-ups. No alcohol on the property (except for a once-a-month event), no drama, and shared spaces that everyone respects. You’ll get a quick orientation when you move in so you know how everything works and how we keep a full house living in harmony. Long-term roommates are used to helping new people get settled, so you won’t feel lost.

Before You Book

If you’re staying around a month, try playing with your dates — sometimes adding a day (31+ days) can actually lower your total because of how taxes work on shorter stays. If the calendar looks full, send a message anyway; there might still be a spot open. And if you’re flying in, aim for Burbank — it’s the easiest airport for getting here.

If this sounds like your kind of place, send a quick intro about who you are and what brings you to LA — we’d love to welcome you and be the place where your LA story really starts.

Guest access
This is a shared home with shared spaces, but it's spacious and perfect for people who don't want to live alone for their first (or 10th) time in LA!

Other things to note
All guests get a MANDATORY house orientation to go over the rules and policies on their first or second day.

($1,151 monthly, originally $1,432)
