Our beautiful apartment bordering Back Bay/ South end is looking for a new roommate starting November 1 or December 1!
The address is 29 Wellington street, a quiet green street very close to the orange line, green line, and #1 bus to Cambridge. My daily commute to Cambridge takes 15-25 minutes depending whether I use Bike or T.
We are very respectful about quiet during sleep and concentrated work. I have a video of the apartment I can share by message that was too big for the post. We have a separate living room in the house that is nice to relax in and gets a lot of light. Rent for the free bedroom is $1300/month, and utilities are $140/month on average throughout the year (higher in winter, lower in summer). The photos are not stock photos, that is what the apartment actually looks like. The free room has the largest closet of all bedrooms and two windows with a lot of greenery.
What we're looking for: We have a clean household, and we want a roommate who is excited to maintain that with us. We have monthly help cleaning (~$40 per person), so it's just about daily habits: dishes, hairs in the bathroom, etc. We are also conscious about what items go on open shelving to keep the space looking neat.
Who you'd be living with: I am a master's student at Harvard's continuing education program with a background in physics and data science, looking to start a company and interested in AI Safety, in my 30s. Eleanor is a violin student in her 20s at NEC. We're both friendly, cooperative, and clean. We like to be on good terms with roommates and ideally friends!
No cats/dogs due to allergies unfortunately.
