Looking for an organized, proactive part-time Family Assistant / Mother’s Helper to help our school pickup and evening routines run smoothly.
This role is a blend of dinner prep, evening childcare, and household staging. On evenings when parents are home, we like to "tag-team" the routine (for example, a parent handles bath time while you tackle kitchen cleanup, or vice versa).
Core Responsibilities:
Next-Day Morning Prep: Prep for the next school day (pack lunchbox/water bottle, check backpack, pick out clothes with our son).
School Pickup (As Needed): Pick up our son from school in Menlo Park (dismissal up to 5:30 PM) on days we are held up with work.
Evening Routine: Assist with feeding dinner, bath time, and bedtime transition, either independently or alongside a parent.
Light Household Tasks: Wash/load child's dinner dishes, wipe down counters, and put away leftovers. Take out trash/recycling and tidy up bath and play areas.
Occasional Flexibility (Optional, but Preferred): Availability for occasional evening or weekend babysitting or morning support with advance notice.
Additional hours: If able to do regular morning support a few times/week, additional hours can be given.
