Seeking a graduate student to mentor my 10th-grade student on an independent research project this fall. Topic area: comparative case study on access and excellence in youth sports. Looking for someone grounded in qualitative methods: interview design, coding, thematic analysis, research ethics.
Role: guide the student from research question → design → data collection → analysis → final write-up. ~1 hr/week for 12 weeks, plus light async feedback.
You: a current grad student with hands-on qualitative research experience who enjoys mentoring a motivated teenager. Prior tutoring/mentoring a plus.
Logistics: sessions over video or in person in San Francisco; flexible scheduling. Background check requested before starting. Compensation $100/hr.
