Roommate Wanted | 2B/1.5B Townhouse | Mountain View, CA | $1,700/month | December 1st

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a roommate to take over my current roommate's lease for a bedroom in a spacious 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom townhouse (1,075 sq. ft.) in Mountain View, CA.

Move-in: December 1st (the last week of November may also be possible). Long-term stay preferred.

Lease: Currently month-to-month, with the option to sign a longer-term lease.

Rent: $1,700/month (includes water, sewage, and garbage).

Utilities: Internet and electricity shared between two roommates, approximately $80–$100 total per month.

Townhouse Features

• Spacious bedroom in a two-story townhouse (1,075 sq. ft.).
• Large living and dining areas, with hardwood-style flooring throughout.
• One full bathroom and one half bathroom, located on separate floors.
• Kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher.

• Community amenities include a gym, swimming pool, and lounge area.

Location & Accessibility

• Approximately 20 minutes on foot to the Caltrain station, Walmart, Safeway, Trader Joe's, and Target.
• Free Mountain View community shuttle connecting to Caltrain.
• Bike-friendly neighborhood with convenient public transportation.
• Right next to Rengstorff Park, which has lovely walking and jogging paths, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, and swimming pools. Very cool spot to walk around while listening to music, or sit and read a book - I can attest to this.

About Me

I'm 26M and work at Stanford Medicine. I'm fairly quiet but friendly, and I occasionally play the guitar. I don't host parties or have many people over, but I'm perfectly fine with a roommate who likes having friends visit.

I don't smoke or have any pets (sadly!), and I like keeping my living space clean and tidy.

I moved into the townhouse just a few months ago, so the living room isn't fully furnished yet, but I'm planning to make the space a little more welcoming and lively over time!

Some of my preferences:
-I'm open to roommates of any gender identity, though I'd prefer a male-identifying roommate.
-I'm vegan, so it would be nice to have a vegetarian or even vegan roommate, but this is absolutely not a dealbreaker for me.

So if you're cool, friendly and tidy, we'd be a great fit!
