Hi everyone,

I am an incoming Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, joining the School of Medicine (Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery) for a one-year research appointment (November 2026 to October 2027). I am a 30-year-old female physician (ENT).

I am looking for a furnished private bedroom with its own private bathroom, ideally within walking distance of the Stanford School of Medicine at 801 Welch Rd. Somewhere up to about a 20-minute walk would be ideal, as I would love to be able to walk or bike to the hospital each day.

Room: private bedroom and private bathroom, furnished preferred
Move-in: between October 29 and November 1, 2026
Length of stay: about 12 months (one year)
Budget: up to $1,500 / month, open to discussing
About me: quiet, clean, non-smoking, no pets, and a respectful long-term tenant
