🔐 Each guest gets their personal code that works for all the doors in the house, including your bedroom door. For security, the codes are changed between guests and each guest has a different code.
🎀 Owner doesn’t live onsite. You own your private suite, and are free to use shared areas without feeling like a guest in someone else’s household. Cook when you want, relax on the sofa, watch TV, strike up a conversation with fellow residents, or work outdoors when the weather’s right.

A FEW NOTES 📝
1️⃣ EARLY CHECK IN & LATE CHECK-OUT: Just inform us ahead of time and we’ll do our best to accommodate. A $25 fee may apply.
2️⃣ LOCATION: Downtown San Jose area and just off Freeway 101.
3️⃣ PUBLIC TRANSPORT: 8-10 minute walk to a city bus line running on E Santa Clara St and San Antonio St.
4️⃣ PARKING: On-site parking is free but make sure to reserve your spot. Unmetered street parking is also available and free.
⚡Onsite parking spots are numbered. Only park in the spot with the number assigned to you. PLEASE do not park in someone else’s reserved spot.
5️⃣ VISITORS: The only people allowed in the home at any time are officially registered guests who have been ID verified. This is for the safety, security and comfort of everyone in the house. There is zero tolerance house rule. Any violation might result in immediate booking cancellation without refund.
⚡This is also not a party house. That being said, if you are a long-term guest and have a family member or friend coming over, talk to us for permission and guidelines.
6️⃣ SECURITY CAMERA
We have security cameras at exterior entrances and shared outdoor areas. They remain on throughout your stay to help ensure a secure, well-maintained home for everyone. Please note that for everyone's privacy, we do not have cameras inside the house.
7️⃣ SHARED KITCHEN USE
The shared kitchen is for everyone to enjoy, so please use it with care and consideration.
🍳 You’re welcome to prepare meals, but avoid frying or cooking foods with strong odors, as smells can linger and affect others.
💦 Please clean up after yourself and wash dishes immediately after use—no soaking or leaving items behind. There is bi-weekly housekeeping for shared spaces, but cookware and dishes are each guest’s responsibility.
💧 For food waste, do not use the indoor kitchen trash. Please take all food scraps to the large bins outside to help prevent odors and pests.
8️⃣ LAUNDRY
🧺 The laundry area is equipped with a paid washer and dryer and is located behind the kitchen. The code to enter is the same as one for your room.
🧺 There is a camera. Please close the door securely.
🧺 Expect to pay $5.5 for a wash load and $2 for 20 minutes of drying. Operated by coin or app.
9️⃣ HOUSEKEEPING: The cleaning fee that you pay when booking is for preparing the room before your stay and restoring it after you leave.
❌ Maid service for each room is not included. This is not a hotel.
✅ Housekeeping staff will keep an eye on the overall cleanliness of the common areas, but are not responsible to pick up guests’ trash, do their dishes etc.
✅ Extra room cleaning and linen exchange during your stay can be arranged against a fee. Please reach out to inquire.
1️⃣0️⃣ DELIVERY SAFETY BOX & MAILBOX: The mailbox and a delivery box is located next to the front door. Instructions on how to use those will be provided after check-in.
1️⃣1️⃣ BIKE STORAGE: Absolutely no bikes are allowed inside the house. You can park your bike at the front of the house. Please do not obstruct parking spots for cars. Make sure to take appropriate precautions since we do not take responsibility in case of theft.
1️⃣2️⃣ STANDARD OF BEHAVIOR:
🌱 For things to run smoothly in a shared home, we need to run a tight ship. Our house rules will be enforced in line with ’s standards and policies.
🌱🌱 We expect a certain standard from everyone, though we cannot guarantee that everyone will follow the standard we have set. Our only recourse is to cancel the booking of people who violate the house policies.
🌱🌱🌱 If you feel someone is being disrespectful, you must let us know immediately. We want the opportunity to take corrective actions right away, and not find out about what had bothered you after your stay has ended.
