Hi all! My current roommate needs to move out for an emergency family situation, so I’m looking for a new roommate by November 1st. There is also an opportunity to move in about a week earlier!

The apartment is a 3 bed / 1 bath in Somerville, with the room available for the November 1, 2026 – August 31, 2027 lease.

💸 Rent: $1,250/month, plus approximately $150/month for the driveway (split between those who use it), and utilities (typically ~$60–$120 per person depending on the season).

🏠 The Space:

• First floor of a three-unit house on a quiet street

• In-unit laundry with full-size machines

• Additional storage space in the basement

• Shared backyard with the other two units

• Private driveway, not shared with the other units

• Common areas are furnished

• We keep things pretty clean overall

Julia (2nd pic):

Julia is 23 and works full-time at TJX Headquarters in Framingham, MA. She follows a hybrid schedule with two days in the office and the rest from home. She loves the beach, traveling, going on walks and hikes, and doing yoga. When she’s around on the weekends, she’s usually up for a night out at the bars, a trivia night, or just a relaxing night in.

Taylor (me, 1st pic):

I’m 25 and work full-time in engineering about 30 minutes north of Boston, and I’m also doing grad school online part-time. I’m originally from Connecticut but have been living in Somerville for just about two years now. Because of grad school, on weeknights during the school year, I’ll usually be watching lectures and doing homework after work. On weekends, I also enjoy going out to bars, trivia nights, or having a relaxing night in.

🐰 I also have a bunny! She lives with us and mostly hangs out in the living room and my bedroom. She’s fully litter-trained, very quiet, and mostly just lounges around. I clean her space frequently to keep everything fresh.
