Visiting Med Student Seeking Sublet/Shared Housing Near Stanford (Sept 2026 – July 2027, 10 months)

Hi everyone,

I'm a 24-year-old medical student from Heidelberg, Germany, coming to Stanford as a Visiting Student Researcher (VSR) for a 10-month research stay. I'm looking for a room in a shared house/apartment or a sublet in the area around campus (Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mountain View, or anywhere within easy biking distance of Stanford) starting September 2026 through around July 2027.

A bit about me:
• Tidy, clean, and organized — I've spent the last few years living in a shared flat and know how to be a considerate housemate
• I love cycling, running, and being outdoors in general, always open to learning new sports
• Quiet, respectful, and easy to live with — mostly focused on research work during the week

What I'm looking for:
• A furnished, private room
• Sublet or room in a shared house/apartment
• Flexible on exact start date within the first two weeks of September
