Workshop: Introduction to containers and virtual machines

Ever wish you had a second computer to safely test software or perfectly package your research so anyone could run it? This hands-on workshop is a gentle introduction to virtual machines (VirtualBox) and containers (Docker). We will explore how these tools enable reproducible research, making it easy to share work, run applications on High Performance Computing facilities, or safely allow AI agents on your computer.
