Literacy for All
This year’s Boot Camp will focus on building meaningful, accessible literacy experiences for all learners.
Participants will:
· Explore ways to support deafblind proficient communicators in accessing literacy and instruction
· Discuss reading and writing strategies for students across ages, stages, and access needs
· Learn practical strategies to build literacy skills while supporting language acquisition
· Develop IEP goals and lesson plans centered on calendars and routines
· Preview a newly revised publication from TSBVI
· Digital walkthrough of the GLRS Collaborative Literacy Units, a curriculum designed for students with multiple disabilities.
· Hands-on “make-and-take” materials to support implementation of literacy concepts.
