This year we focus on Cigarette Smoking in Combination with Other Tobacco Products and Other Addictive Substances. Grounded in behavioral economics and addiction science, we explore national trends, regulatory frameworks, and treatment strategies surrounding the dual use of combusted cigarettes and alternative nicotine delivery systems. Our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Ken Warner, will open with data-driven perspectives on tobacco harm reduction and population-level substance regulation, offering insights for clinical practice and health policy. Sessions specifically examine the intersections of combusted and non-combusted tobacco use among populations chronically misusing opioids, cannabis, and alcohol, alongside evidence-based interventions like contingency management.
