Why do people make “bad” decisions? Rather than simply asking this question, in the next Sip with a Scientist, UC Riverside organizational psychologist Austin Attaway examines the cognitive, emotional, social, and environmental factors that shape our decision making.
Attaway, a Riverside native, leads a nonprofit mental health organization and teaches psychology and business both at UCR and UC Irvine. His work is focused on ethics, leadership, and human behavior. Come for the free appetizers, stay for the fascinating talk and chance to ask Dr. Attaway questions about his research.
