Now Boarding: First Class (Weeks of Welcome)

Step into a celebrity-inspired, travel-themed event where pop culture and hands-on fun take flight. Guests can build and race paper airplanes, compete in interactive games, and weigh in on where they’d sit on a celebrity-filled plane, all while enjoying themed snacks and prizes. This come-and-go experience blends creativity, friendly competition, and star-powered conversation for an energetic, VIP-feeling event.

UA’s Weeks of Welcome (WOW) is a large series of programs coordinated by University Programs and the Division of Student Life to help all students find resources, build community, and have fun. Kicking off on Monday, August 17, we are thrilled to share we have 8 weeks of programming on the WOW calendar for 2026. We want to find ways for you to meet people, get involved, and find your place on campus. All events are FREE and open to all UA students. No registration is required.
