Nature Sketching

Join us for Nature Sketching in the Japanese Garden. Discover the benefits of slowing down to observe the natural world while learning how to capture what you see through sketching. We'll practice simple techniques for recording plants, stones, and other details of the landscape, and welcome beginners and experienced sketchers alike!

Basic sketching materials will be provided, but feel free to bring other art supplies if you prefer. Meet at the Japanese Garden Pavilion, near the amphitheater behind Cottrell Hall.
