Trip Overview
Join our Kayak Instructors for a day on the water learning the basics of paddling a whitewater kayak. This full-day trip will cover basic strokes and concepts, reading whitewater, and how to navigate your boat through Class II whitewater.
The Wednesday evening before the trip, meet us at the SAC for a mandatory pool session from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We will go over some important things to know before getting on the river, and this will give everyone an opportunity to get more comfortable in a kayak.
The morning of the trip, we will meet at the Outdoor Center in TRECS and drive to the river. Expect to learn the basics, get wet, get some sunshine, and have a great time! Cost includes all gear, guides, and transportation.
