CHASS x School of Education ACTION Summer Research Institute Culmination Showcase!

Join us for the CHASS x School of Education ACTION (Advancing Community Transformation through Inquiry and Opportunity) Summer Research Institute Culmination Showcase!

 

This special event celebrates the achievements of prospective transfer students from Crafton Hills College who have completed a three-week summer research institute designed to strengthen transfer pathways, develop research skills, and explore opportunities at a leading R1 research university. 

 

Throughout the institute, students engaged in faculty-led research, critical inquiry, transfer preparation, reflective learning, and collaborative scholarship. During the showcase, participants will present their research projects, reflect on their learning experiences, and celebrate their accomplishments alongside faculty, staff, campus leaders, community college partners, family members, and the broader community. Following the student presentations, attendees are invited to connect with UCR campus partners during a resource fair and networking lunch to learn more about the programs and resources that support transfer student success.

 

The ACTION Summer Research Institute is a collaborative initiative between the UC Riverside CHASS F1RST Year Experience Programs and the School of Education, committed to expanding educational opportunity, strengthening transfer pathways, and empowering the next generation of scholars and leaders.
