Mt. LeConte Day Hike | 11/8

Trip Overview

Join your fellow Vols for a memorable day hike to the summit of Mt. LeConte, one of the most iconic peaks in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. No previous hiking or outdoor experience is required, but participants should be prepared for a challenging day on the trail. We'll hike the scenic Alum Cave Trail, gaining nearly 3,000 feet of elevation over 5.5 miles to reach the summit (11 miles roundtrip). Along the way, you'll enjoy panoramic overlooks, unique rock formations, and the beauty of the Smokies in every season. The trip cost includes transportation, experienced trip leaders, and any necessary equipment.
