Getting Started with Mentoring

This interactive workshop provides guidance and practice for faculty launching mentoring relationships—whether as mentors, mentees or both. Participants will explore foundational principles of reciprocal mentoring, practice conversation starters for building trust and getting to know their mentoring partners, and develop clear goals and expectations to create focused, sustainable mentoring partnerships. Through hands-on activities and collaborative discussion, you'll gain tools to establish strong learning relationships that support mutual growth and development.
