Scholarship of Teaching & Learning Mixer

Great ideas often begin with a conversation. Whether you are curious about the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), already exploring a classroom question, or looking to connect with colleagues doing this work, join us for an interactive mixer designed to spark ideas and build community. Faculty interested in improving student learning, exploring a research question, or expanding their scholarly portfolio will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues who share a curiosity about teaching.

Through facilitated conversations and informal networking, you will meet faculty from across disciplines, hear examples of teaching-focused research, and discover opportunities for collaboration. Representatives from the Center for Academic Excellence and the Office of Research and Grants will be available to answer questions and share resources that can help transform questions about teaching and learning into meaningful scholarly projects. Come curious and leave with new connections, fresh ideas, and a next step for your own teaching journey.
