Add to calendarStudent success begins with creating learning environments where every student feels they belong and has meaningful opportunities to participate. Drawing upon insights from Fairfield's participation in a multi-institutional collaboration focused on student success, this interactive workshop explores how student voice, belonging, and active learning work together to support engagement, confidence, and learning across disciplines.
Participants will experience practical classroom strategies, reflect on ways to increase opportunities for student participation, and explore approaches that help students build confidence while making their thinking visible. Whether you are looking to strengthen classroom discussions, redesign participation, or create learning experiences that better support all students, you will leave with practical ideas you can adapt in your own course and opportunities to connect with ongoing student success initiatives at Fairfield.
Facilitated by the CAE in partnership with the Office of Accessibility, Belonging, and Community Engagement
