This interactive, hands-on workshop builds on the concepts introduced in Building Your Canvas Course: Part 1 — Foundations. Working alongside Canvas experts, you'll create assignments and discussions, build assessments, organize the Gradebook, and explore the tools that support communication, feedback, and student engagement.
Whether you've completed Foundations or already have experience using Canvas, this workshop will help you confidently move from course setup to course delivery.
Format: 90-minute hands-on workshop (please bring your laptop)

About Canvas Month
This session is part of Canvas Month, the University of Miami's month-long series of workshops, hands-on training, and support opportunities designed to help faculty confidently prepare their Canvas courses. Canvas Month runs August 10–September 4. Attend one session or follow your Canvas Learning Track to build the skills that best match your goals. Ongoing training, consultations, and office hours will continue throughout the fall semester.
